Privacy Policy
This policy explains the limited data flows used by Watt and Ampere Calculator, including browser-based calculations and optional contact-form messages.
Last updated:
Scope of this policy
This policy describes data flows in the public Watt and Ampere Calculator website. It covers calculator use, ordinary requests for site files, optional contact-form or direct-email messages, and links to other websites. The site does not offer user accounts or ask users to create profiles.
Calculator data
Electrical values entered into the calculator are processed in your browser. The calculator does not submit those values to us or to the contact-form service.
The calculator does not need an account and its code does not intentionally save entered power, current, voltage, phase, or power-factor values in cookies or browser storage. Your browser may still cache ordinary site files according to standard browser and server behavior.
Technical request information
Loading any website normally sends limited technical information to its hosting and security infrastructure, such as the requested URL, IP address, browser user agent, date and time, and response status. That information may be processed for delivering the site, preventing abuse, diagnosing failures, and maintaining security under the service provider's own practices.
As of the date above, the website code does not include an advertising network, third-party audience analytics script, or marketing tracking pixel.
Contact messages, email, and Web3Forms
When the contact form is enabled and you choose to submit it, your name, email address, and message are sent from your browser to the Web3Forms API. Web3Forms processes the submission and forwards it to the email address configured for this site so the message can be reviewed and answered.
If you use the published email link instead, your message is processed by your email provider and the recipient's email provider rather than Web3Forms. A direct email normally includes the sender and recipient addresses, message headers, message content, and any attachment you choose to add.
Web3Forms publishes information about its processing, server logs, and submission handling in its privacy and GDPR FAQ. Its service practices are governed by its own current terms and notices.
Submitted information is used to understand and respond to the message, investigate technical or content concerns, and keep a record when reasonably needed to handle the inquiry. Do not use the form if you do not want the listed information sent through Web3Forms; use of direct email remains subject to the participating email providers.
Data minimization
Only provide information needed to explain your calculator question, correction request, or technical issue. Do not submit passwords, payment information, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal data through the form or by email.
For the available contact methods, see the Contact page.
External links and your choices
Articles may link to standards bodies, technical references, manufacturers, or other external resources. Following one of those links takes you to a site with its own privacy practices. Opening an external source is optional and is not required to use the calculator.
You may use the calculator without sending a contact message. Browser controls can also clear cached files or restrict storage, although doing so may affect how websites load.
Policy updates and questions
This policy may be revised when the site's data flows or service providers change. The updated date above identifies the current published version. Material descriptions should be reviewed against the actual implementation rather than replaced with assumptions.
To ask a privacy question or request review of information previously submitted through the form or by email, use the Contact page and provide enough context to identify the message.
